Foodservice Rewards Rolls the Dice at NACUFS 2013

College Foodservice Directors tested their luck in Minneapolis…

The NACUFS National Conference was held in Foodservice Rewards home city of Minneapolis.  Foodservice Rewards was hosted by Rich’s and created lots of excitement giving college operators the chance to win points and a mini-ipad.

Many sponsors exhibited, so Codee stopped by to say “hello”.

Instant Win – Surprise & Delight Operators

Foodservice Rewards is running a new type of promotion to surprise and delight operators…

From April 15th-October 15th, when operators enter their foodservice reward codes, randomly selected INSTANT WINNERS will be notified via a pop-up message. The pop-up message will include the award details (prize, shipping, etc…). In addition, every time an operator enters a reward code during the promotional period, they will receive one entry to the grand prize drawing for a trip for two to Napa Valley, California.  Both Krusteaz Professional and Butterball are among the sponsors who contributed prizes for the promotion.

Foodservice Rewards will be communicating the promotion and winner updates via eblasts (see below), the story tool on www.foodservicerewards.com (see above), a microsite, Foodservice Community and the enewsletter. Foodservice Rewards telemarketing teams will also be reaching out directly to operators via telephone and emails.

Butterball Foodservice is using bold, consistent creative with broad placement for the launch of two new turkey breast products.  Each ad leverages Foodservice Rewards promotions and points, taking customers to product and promotional information on Butterball’s website.

Butterball Foodservice Director of Marketing, Richie Jenkins explains, “We’ve used the FSR tie as our primary launch and promotion feature for these two new items.  There have been . . . treatments in newsletters and online banners/blocks, but all tied back to FSR.”
